- The Salem School Board honored one of it's own at the January School Board Meeting as Cindy Neathawk received some well deserved recognition for her 15 years of service on the board. Click here to read on.
- The Salem School Board approved calendar dates for the start, end, and holidays for SY 13-14. Two options for grading period end dates were tentatively approved, pending recommendations from the Grading Study Group.(note: the calendars here are not being used as this is old information but is included here to show the process in developing our new calendar) SY 2013-14 with 6 weeks grading periods, SY 2013-14 with 9 weeks grading periods
- Frank Turk, who was instrumental in the formation of the school division in 1983, was honored for his nearly 30 years of distinguished service to Salem school children.
- The Salem High School golf team was recognized for winning the State Group AA golf championship this year.
