News and Highlights

  • It has come to our attention that our spring break is no longer congruent with several local school divisions.  We realize that this has a negative effect on shared programs and families with employees and children in different school systems. As a result, we have asked the school board to consider a revised 2019-2020 School Calendar.  The revised calendar reflects the following changes: spring break is moved from April 10-17 to April 6-13, the March early dismissal and non-student days are moved from March 19 and 20 to March 12 and 13,the end of the 3rd nine-week grading period is moved from March 31 to March 30, and third marking period report cards will be distributed on April 3.The revised calendar is attached for your review.  We hope providing these revisions well in advance will prevent any negative impact on families. However, if you have comments, questions or concerns about these changes, please feel free to contact Curtis Hicks at 389-0130 or email to  Barring significant negative consequences, we anticipate that the school board will approve these changes at its March 26 meeting.
