Chromebook Expectations

• Bring your fully charged Chromebook to school every day.
• Charge your Chromebook overnight, just like your phone, and leave your charger at home.
• Completely shut down and power off the device at least once a week.
  *Closing the lid puts the Chromebook in sleep mode and is not the same thing as shutting down the Chromebook.
• Do not intentionally damage or deface the Chromebook.

Best Practices for Chromebook Care

• Carry the Chromebook with the lid closed.
• Do not leave your Chromebook on the floor.
• Do not slam, punch, or throw the Chromebook.
• Do not use another student’s Chromebook without their knowledge and permission.
• Do not decorate your Chromebook with stickers or glued items.
• Do not write on your Chromebook with markers, pen, pencil, or anything else.
• Do not remove the labels from your Chromebook or charger.

Chromebook Fees

Intentional or excessive damage may result in a repair fee and disciplinary action.

• Lost or intentionally damaged Chromebook: $250.
• Lost or intentionally damaged charger: $29.
• Screen repair: $50.
• Keyboard repair: $50.
• Motherboard: $100.
• Chromebook Replacement: $250.
